Shannon Pucel, Lead Educator
Shannon has been in the Cosmetology industry for 9 years. She has been at The Salon Professional Academy/Shorewood since it opened in 2007. As The Salon Professional Academy’s Lead Educator, Shannon focuses on discovering each student’s personal and professional goals. She guides them towards achievement. She was also a Designer for Tantress Salon for 7 years, which allowed her to bring her personal salon experience to the school environment. Shannon has advanced educational training in Redken’s Fuel for Education System by Chris Baran, specializing in Cutting and Finishing techniques. She is also educated in Principal’s of Color and Color Correction, and was a Train the Trainer graduate from the Redken Exchange in New York. As a Coach and Mentor, grounded in the KRS system, Shannon believes in growing each student to their fullest potential.

Jill Kaczmarek, Educator
Jill is an experienced designer and educator at The Salon Professional Academy. Jill has been with The Salon Professional Academy/Shorewood since it’s opening in 2007. Being a designer for 9 years in the industry Jill’s focus at TSPA/Shorewood is teaching and mentoring. She possesses a wide range of knowledge in the KRS system as a coach to students, to help them build their careers. Having a strong background in color, specializing in dimensional color, and formulating, she continues to further her career by attending Redken specialized classes all over the US. Also with a strong background in cutting, make-up, and updos, Jill teaches Advanced Theory classes here at The Academy. Jill still currently is employed by Images Hair Salon, in Joliet, IL part-time as a Top Designer. She also continues to take educational classes to further her career as a designer and educator.

Tiffany White, Educator
Tiffany has been in the Cosmetology industry for 19 years. She has been at TSPA/Shorewood since January 2009. In her years of experience, she has worked as a Colorist, Esthetician, Nail Tech, Salon Owner, Hair Designer, and now Educator. She brings with her skill, knowledge, and training from various companies and brands, specializing in color. She has been through many educational training classes over the years and continues to attend advanced Redken classes. Tiffany enjoys mentoring the students and watching each individual grow into their role as a stylist!

Amber Rolnik, Educator
Amber has been an educator at The Salon Professional Academy/Shorewood since July of 2008. She has been in the Cosmetology industry for 6 years. Though Amber’s years of experience she has been a freelance make-up artist and is still currently a designer at Jagged Edge Salon. Through her strong background in haircutting, color, and make-up, Amber teaches Advanced Theory Class at TSPA/Shorewood. Amber has advanced educational training through Redken, Paul Mitchell, and Eufora. She also graduated from Wesmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in Los Angles, CA. This included training in High Fashion, Film and Photography makeup. As an educator Amber aspires to teach, motivate, and coach students towards a successful and fulfilling career.

Tonjia Bruns, Educator
Tonjia has been in the hair industry for 19 years. She has been an educator for the last 5 years. She has Salon experience, management skills, and at one time owned her own salon. She has attended the Expressions hair show every year since she became a licensed cosmetologist. Tonjia also attends many other continuing education opportunities. She has extensive knowledge in Redken products, including all their color lines. Tonjia is also well versed in Rusk, Pro Design, Surface, Pureology, T.I.G.I., and Sexy Hair. She is also very knowledgeable with the Grund razor cutting system.

Pearl Garcia, Educator (Bilingual-Spanish)
Pearl has been in the industry for 15 years. She has experience as an Instructor, Manager, and Designer. She is currently our Salon Floor Educator and is a Certified Redken Colorist and Certified Redken Master Specialist. Pearl has been teaching for four years and is actively working as a Designer at Rockzorz Salon & Spa in Frankfort, Illinois; Pearl continues her education by attending Hair Shows and advanced Cutting and Coloring Classes. Doing this continuing education allows her to keep up with the latest trends and techniques and bring it back to TSPA to share with the students. Pearl loves to motivate and mentor the students, and to watch them grow.
