What do Oscar Mayer hot dogs, American Girl dolls, and Badgers have in common? These companies and university mascot all call Madison Wisconsin their home – and now share a new neighbor; please welcome Tony Santini and The Salon Professional Academy Madison!

Growing up, Tony was very creative, with a focus on art and music. It wasn’t until he turned 19 and entered beauty school that his creativity found its true outlet! Seventeen years later, he has never looked back. In his career, Tony has taken part in session styling for model portfolios, stage looks for theater and opera, and did hair at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Nine years into his career, Tony opened Hybrid Salon – an education based salon for both hairdressers and guests alike. With education having become his calling, Tony took on a new role as a national performing artist for Redken, teaching professionals advanced skills in hair color, design and finishing. To add to his growing business portfolio, Tony recently acquired Tanglz Salon, in Appleton, WI, which he has since rejuvenated through software upgrades, staff training, rebranding, and interior renovations.

Tony has a great understanding of, and passion for, the dedication needed to be a successful salon professional, which he strives to instill in his employees. It is the opportunity to turn his attention to students in a Redken-focused environment that led Tony to The Salon Professional Academy.

Having a leader like Tony, who brings with him a high level of both artistry and entrepreneurship, is a welcome addition to the TSPA family. Welcome home, Tony!
